A message from AARP;
We’re close to a big vote that would move us forward, Gary.The House of Representatives will soon consider the Lower Drug Costs Now Act, which would allow Medicare to negotiate for lower Rx prices for the very first time, cap out-of-pocket costs for seniors, and more.
We are preparing for a fight — and so are drug companies.The pharmaceutical industry is putting a lot of money and lobbying effort into stopping this bill. We have champion lawmakers who are ready to lower drug costs, but AARP advocates like us have to be ready to rally every single vote possible. We have to get loud and show our representatives that we. demand. action.
Pledge to speak up to Congress before the coming vote, Gary — let us know we can count on you.
